Communicate More Effectively With Your Teen
“You don’t talk to me!”
“Why can’t you open up and tell me what’s going on?”
“What’s going on with you? You seem distracted lately and it’s showing in your work.”
Do these sound familiar? Sometimes words escape us or we keep them to ourselves especially when we’re upset and don’t want to respond in anger or when we’re depressed. These reasons are plausible in the moment but not an excuse to avoid the conversation soon thereafter or entirely.
